Week of September 15-19, 2025

 Monday:   Student Holiday

Tuesday:   WG:  Students will explain how changes in societies such as population shifts, technological advancements, and environmental policies have led to diverse uses of physical features over time such as terrace farming, dams, and polders.  WH:  Review how the civilizations rose to power and their eventual downfall.

Wednesday:   WG/ WH:  Students will identify colonial grievances listed in the Declaration of Independence and explain how those grievances were addressed in the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  Students will also  summarize rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights and the purposes for amending the U.S. Constitution.

Thursday:   WG:  Students will review Unit 3:  Climates of the Earth for their test on Friday.  WH:  Students will review Unit 3:  Near East River Valley Civilizations for their test on Friday.

Friday:   WG: Students will be assessed on their knowledge of Unit 3;  The Climates of the Earth;.  “My Island” activity and questions are due.   WH:  Students will be tested on their knowledge on Unit 3:  Near East River Valley Civilizations.
